We are very delighted to share that, the campus activation program of "Her Tale, He Tells" by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the Dept. of Law, GUB at Room A601(Moot Court) of the Green University of Bangladesh in 23rd of June, 2025.
We were privileged to hear from a distinguished panel of speakers who shed light on various facets of gender equality. Sharmin Islam, Gender Team Leader from UNDP kicked off the discussion by emphasizing the importance of gender sensitivity in youth engagement. Faysal Abdullah, Lecturer of Law from the Green University of Bangladesh provided a clear and compelling explanation of the crucial difference between equity and equality, grounding the concepts in a local context.
The purpose and vision of the "Her Tale, He Tells" campaign were eloquently articulated by Abdul Quayyum, Communications Specialist of UNDP. We were also moved by the powerful personal stories shared by youth changemakers, Journalist Ahmed Reza of Jamuna TV and prominent actor Khairul Bashar, who underscored the relevance of the campaign.
One of the highlights of the event was the active participation from the audience. The interactive icebreaker set a collaborative tone, and the personal stories shared during the open mic session were both touching and inspiring. We were also honored to hear reflections from the university leadership, who reaffirmed their commitment to fostering an inclusive campus environment.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor of GUB, Prof Mohammad Shorif Uddin, PhD provided valuable insights regarding the importance of youth led gender initiatives and encouraged future academia industry collaborations. In his vote of thanks, Dr. Md. Arifuzzaman, Chairperson of the Dept. of Law, GUB, cordially thanked everyone involved in the successful organization of the program including students, faculty members and personnel of Catch Bangladesh Ltd., who held the responsibility of managing this event.
The "Her Tale, He Tells" campaign is more than just a single event; it's a movement. We encourage continuing the conversation to make the world a better place. Some pictures of the event are attached here for your kind perusal.
