'Intra-Department Labour Law Poster Competition' on 17 May 2025

We're thrilled to announce that the Department of Law successfully organized 'Intra-Department Labour Law Poster Competition' on 17 May 2025 at the venue of A-302, Green University of Bangladesh. 

Honourable Chairperson, Dr. Md. Arifuzzaman inaugurated this competition. Honourable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed graced this event as the 'Chief Guest' and Honourable Proctor, Dr. Md. Mehedi Hasan was present as 'Special Guest' in this competition. All respected law faculties facilitated this event by their wise marking on the posters and thereby selecting top three posters. This competition was convened by Mirza Farzana Iqbal Chowdhury, Assistant Professor and co-convened by Sikandar Ali Usman, Lecturer of the Department of Law.

The Department of Law expresses huge thanks to all the participating law students who showcased incredible creativity and a deep understanding of labour laws through their insightful posters. The competition was fierce, and the quality of submissions was truly outstanding. Total 26 posters were presented and among them, 03 (Three) top posters were selected. The Poster titled 'Workplace Safety Issues in Bangladesh' ranked '1st', the poster titled 'Importance of Paternity Benefits in Labour Law' ranked '2nd' and the poster titled 'Grind of Labour' ranked '3rd' in this competition.

This event was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and reinforce the importance of labour laws within our organization. The photos of the event have been attached herewith for your kind perusal.
